A training tool to keep the dog in the yard

The reason to put in an electric fence was to keep my 150 lb. and growing dog in the yard.To put the unit in place was easy if following directions and took a couple of afternoons with stringing wire, putting ground rods in place and checking that the fencing worked. So far there are three dogs that will not climb or try to jump the fence. It hasn't hurt them put gets their attention to reinforce that they stay in the yard.

Works, but there is no way to mount it.

It works great, but there is no way to mount it. It is designed to plug into a wall outlet but not a weatherproof outlet and it is not intended for outdoors. The problem is there is no flat surface (except the back where the 110-v male plug is located) and no mounting holes or brackets or anything. So use with an extension cord means that it just lies around, unsecured.
I finally mounted it with some metal strapping over the top, but the raised ridge along the bottom complicates even that.

This is advertised on the box, and in your installation instructions.. Great for Chicken and or Rabbit containment. Even the front of the Box it is sold in has a picture of a Rabbit and Chicken on front. As if to say this was designed to keep these animals contained. There is a problem I noticed almost as soon as I started reading your installation instructions. Im no electricity installation technician or nothing but my Chickens i have in my at home flock of freeloading oxygen waisters. I mean free ranging egg producers. Not sure if anyone else has ever had this problem but these Chickens have advanced learning abilities and have all some how learned if they wanna cross the road to get to the other side? They first got to Fly over the Cattle Guard gate, which they usually most always take a break at the top. But while again I am no Electricaltronical Technician Installation Specialist so whilst should I know the answer here? That is why I have come here for direction. But could maybe one of your Engineering Of Electronic Shock Boxes Specialist if they could find time in their busy day get some of dem dere Chicken Fence Shocking 101 training videos out to me? Because im just can't figure out hows a feller like me supposed to be that smart and just be born knowing how to teach them Fancy Smarty Pants Chickens to when they flying over that gate, and they stop on top for their little Chicken Flying Break, they gots to keep one foot on the (ground) in order for this here Chicken Shocker gadget to shock them because it's designed with the (ground) in the ground to complete the circuit. And i need them to learn to stay off that gate taking their little Chicken Flying breaks and stay in the back yard. Thanks I will be waiting at The Mail Box fur dem Chicken Shocking videos.
