Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frightening comments So far, so good.. had a friend of my brother in law talk to me about the pellet products sold in tractor supply and the information was frightening so I googled it and found more frightening comments about it. But I've been using it so far and everything is going well with it. I really like this stove and hope it keeps producing good functionality throughout the winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stove takes time to learn how to properly use I have had this stove a year now. I'll start by saying it's all about the pellets and flame. This is IMPORTANT. Your glass will be covered in black in no time if you have it on a low setting. I have tried multiple brands of pellets. This pellet stove is heating my 1500 square foot house a CAPE. I as well have had error codes, I figured them out for myself. Our ignition switch went bad probably February or March of this year. You can self light the pellets if this ever happens but you have to be quick. It took me a few trial and errors to get this right and now as I sit here we just started it back up for the 1st time since the winter. I also had to deal with pellets hopping out of the burn pot we actually just talked about getting another burn pot to make things easier this winter. Sometimes it jams up but this is about the pellets. If you buy cheap pellets this will happen. Green Team I believe is what we purchased with no problems. We ended with tractor supply at the end of the winter and only thing I found with them is that more ash. And that means more cleaning of the stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will be very pleased with this stove The only pellet stove that will heat my 100yr old farm house. Only have to fill hopper every other day. I love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Burn pot issue The stoves stock burn pot would not seat properly to allow the inighter to ignite the pellets. After several hours I realized the ignighter stuck out to far preventing the burn pot to seat all the way down. I removed the frame holding the pot and installed two washers and solved the problem allowing the pot to seat completely. Please correct this issue so future customers do not experience this issue.

Will the stove safely run on a 3500 watt UL approved,110 V gas generator with a built in surge protector, in case of power outage? Are line conditioners required?

Asked by: Doc P
The generator must be 1,000 Watt rated, deep cycle marine battery with a pure sine wave inverter.

I see you said if using a masonary chimney you will need a pellet vent pipe. Is that if it is over 15ft or is that no matter how tall the chimney. I will be running the pipe through my wall into the chimney

Asked by: Hunter0721
If you plan to run your pellet pipe into an existing chimney, you will need to run the pellet pipe all the way to the top of the chimney for proper operation. The reason you need to do this is because your pellet stove is designed and programmed for pellet pipe which is 3" or 4" in diameter. most masonry chimneys are 6" or greater. This will put additional back pressure on the exhaust blower decreasing the amount of air it will move. This reduced air will cause errors in the stove vacuum switches and it will burn poorly. If over 15 feet, please use 4" pipe to reduce air restrictions.

I have a old coal that I want to replace with this pellet stove, can I use the existingjf chimney

Asked by: Mjlf
You must use 3 to 4 inch pellet pipe. You cannot use just the chimney for the exhaust.
