Item Information

The Wiseway from US Stove eliminates the need for electricity by utilizing a natural gravity feed system that eliminates all mechanical parts meaning less maintenance and break downs. This patented revolutionary design is the only EPA certified and UL Listed non-electric pellet stove on the market today. The Wiseway is simple to start and operate. Simply heat the burn chamber and flue and start the pellet flow with a propane torch. This stove uses a natural draft that will take over and ramp the stove up to temperature. Adjustments are simple by opening and closing fresh air intakes on the front of the stove. The window allows you to see the flame traveling up the body of the stove. Since it uses no electricity heat is radiated off the 3 1/2" tubing and the steel baffles on the back. Best of all, this stove offers extremely small clearances on the rear and sides making it easy to install. Best of all, Since it does not use any electricity this stove is the perfect souce of heat for areas that are prone to blackouts or off the grid installations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t get anything else! My husband and I were looking to install a pellet stove in our 1100sq. Ft. cabin in Maine, but we were worried about having parts break in the future, and did not want a wood stove. We saw this at our hometown Tractor Supply, and had to get it. We brought it home, installed it and within 24 hours of being on it was the perfect temperature in our house(it was 32 degrees in the cabin when we installed the stove, and the temperature got up to 65). It’s quite, easy to use/install, and clean. No parts to break and unique looking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wiseway Pellet Stove This stove helps cut my heating bill a lot, and will work when the power is out, yet does not need fed every few hours like regular wood stoves do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heat goes out the stack Have one. You need some kind of fan blowing on this stove to get good heat off of it otherwise your heating the outdoors maybe 70% up the pipe...... and you have a lot of ash in 12 hours about half full in pan. Need to clean out once a day. Sometimes it smokes inside house when pellets are out.....

Asked by: Kevin3541
Unfortunately not. This stove is not designed to burn corn. you will potentially clog the stove if you burn corn.

What is the max height my Chimney can be? I have a 35 foot chimmney, many pellet stoves won't allow me to use a vent that tall.

Asked by: shockwaveudk
We do not recommend going above 20ft. vertical piping due to the inability of draft in higher chimneys.

how is the pellet flow regulated and is it prone to jam up or quit feeding pellets to the burn chamber

Asked by: Jim Goodall
There is a slid adjustment to allow different amounts of pellets to drop. Being that this is completely gravity fed we have not heard any complaints about this jamming up.

Is this a wiseway built pellet stove, and if it is does it have removal wheels wiseway shows on it's web site? Thanks

Asked by: Dave1952
Yes, the Wiseway is a pellet stove but drafts like a wood stove would. For installation requirements and guidelines, please see our owner's manual. At this moment, there are not removable wheels for this unit.

So, I just asked about having it the basement. If I have an existing chimney, can I use that chimney from a previous furnace? Also, this is a two story house, so, it'd be going from the basement up to the 2nd story. Can it handle that long of a chimney?

Asked by: Dawn111111111
You can use an existing chimney if it is lined with the correct liner. But, wit the Wiseway we suggest to use a straight run of pipe and avoid elbows if at all possible in order to maintain an adequate natural draft.

The picture shows the stove pipe going up and then making a turn through the wall... is there a minimum distance it needs to go up before it can turn to go out the wall?

Asked by: Lynnyhaha
Even though it shows it using elbows we HIGHLY recommend using only vertical piping as elbows restrict draft.
