The Achiever Foal is recommended for broodmares in their last 2 months of pregnancy and for young horses up to the age of 3. It is ground so that newborns can easily eat it with their tongues. For weight gain, it is recommended that the foal receive oats in addition to the Achiever Foal.

It is suggested that changing a horses diet take place over a 10 day period. First measure the new and the old feed for the day, then take 1/4 of the old feed away and add in 1/4 of the new feed - hold for 3 days. Then go half and half for 3 days. Then 3/4 of the new and 1/4 of the old feed and on the 10th day, use 100% of the new.
