I switched all 4 of my horses to this feed over a month ago and they love it!! I have 3 senior horses and 1 middle aged horse. I like the high fat, high fiber, low starch formula of this feed.This feed will make a mash in minutes no matter warm or cold water. I am not sure why one of the reviews said it was a sweet feed, but it is clearly not a sweet feed. Also you cannot beat the great coupon offers they have on this product right now. So far the best senior feed I have ever tried and that includes Purina, Dumore,Seminole, and Triple Crown.

I bought this feed to begin the transition from Nutrena's Life Design Senior to Safechoice's new senior feed since Nutrena has decided to phase out the Life Design series. My horse, a 27 year old TB loves the Life Design Senior. However, despite claims of comparability in taste, he has refused to eat the new Safechoice Senior and has dropped from eating 13 lbs a day to eating 6. Now I have to look around for a new horse feed that will match the taste of Nutrena Life Design -- a very frustrating situation.....at least for me.

I returned the bags. The Senior grain wasn’t right: dry, hard-packed, and colorless. I bought new bags elsewhere and they were normal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only feed I can get my senior horse to eat everything else he would try he would take a few bites and then walk away! He was super skinny until we started using this feed now he is holding his weight again! 100% recommend this product!
