Horse Feed

I prefer the grain versus pelletized feed. I tried the pellet feed and had a horse choke on it, even though I wetted it down, and vet bill was over $600. So, even though the vet recommended the pellet food, I have had no trouble with the Omolene 200 horse feed. I just wish Purina would make a grain version with less molasses/sugar and more Biotin.

Horrible!!! Ulcers, behavior issues

Horrible! I stuck with this feed because the person I bought new barrel horse off was feeding it. I’m convinced they weren’t feeding it for long because my horse ended up with horrible ulcers and like a lot of these other reviews are saying, he got very hot and mean, biting, kicking etc which were not issues before. When we went to buy triple crown to replace, the cashier said she had the same exact issues with the feed almost word for word! Can’t wait to have him off this feed!

Horses all do well on this feed and the price is relatively within normal range. My only complaint is that my TSC store doesn't seem to always have sufficient stock in their delivery... The staff at my TSC is great and always goes above and beyond with assistance...Charles and Caleb knock it out of the park!!!
