The Lakin Milling Estrella Fortified Pellet Horse Feed is ideal for active horses of all age groups. Formulated with alfalfa and key minerals, this horse feed is excellent for growing and training. The feed comes in a pellet form, making measuring out the right portions a breeze. It comes in a 50 lb. bag. The pellets measure 3/8 in.

Estrella Alfalfa Horse Pellets are formulated to be fed to horses of all ages. Feed at a rate of 1.5% to 2% of body weight per horse, per day depending on body condition and work intensity. For example: a 1000 Lb. horse = 20 Lbs. of Estrella per day. Multiple feedings throughout the day are recommended, dividing the total intake into equal portions. We recommend soaking the pellets in a container of water for horses with sensitive teeth or difficulty chewing. All horses should always have free choice water.
Gradually replace existing hay with Lakin product over a 7 day period.
