The Nutrena SafeChoice Senior Molasses-Free Horse Feed is a molasses-free, controlled starch formula for older horses and hard keepers that is nutritionally balanced with high fat, balanced omega-3 and -6 fatty acid levels. This horse feed is a complete feed that you can trust to provide whole horse nutrition to your senior horses. It features Topline Balance to support topline health and muscle, as well as Nutri-Bloom Advantage for easier nutrient absorption. I switched from a Purina product to SafeChoice Senior and SafeChoice All Life Stages for my horses. They both enjoy the tasted, I've noticed an improvement with their coat, and the continue to have good energy without being wired. Their digestion is good, and they are maintaining their weight well along with healthy joints.

I feed the Molasses free Senior to my 17-year-old Friesian Sporthorse and he loves it. With the 8% fat, he maintains a very nice weight and sleek black coat on a reduced amount of feed than some other feeds. The absence of molasses helps keep him a little calmer, especially at feeding time. He's not charging up and down the fence ringing his head around quite as much. LOL

The only feed my 31 year old mare wants to eat and my year old mini mare loves it too

I have just discovered this feed for senior horses and both of my mares look great it is the only senior feed my 31 year old mare wants to eat she's lost most of her teeth and doesn't do well with hay so I think getting her to eat this feed has saved all of us horses and humans I love them so I don't know how to live without them in my life I have owned them both sense they were babies horses are my whole world
