First time Cub cadet owner

So I decided to bite the bullet and buy a riding lawn mower and after hours of reading reviews and consumer reports I was able to narrow it down to a cub cadet or a john deer ( that were in my price range ) So went to the local TSC in Mabank TX to get a closer look at the cub cadet xt1 LT46. As luck would have it they were having a demo day and I was able to test drive the mower, several in fact so I could compare. This one with the Fab deck was the only one in stock of its kind and a little higher than I wanted to spend but after looking over the mower and talking with the Gentleman running the demo I was sold the Fab deck and the fuel injection was by far the 2 things that sold me I have 2.4 acres to mow and some of it is a little bumpy. 3 year coverage and 5 years on the front axle help easy my mind. Now the only thing that concerned me is that there are not a lot of reviews on this model here or on the manufactors site. I have only mowed once so far and had no issues clean up was a breeze with the water hose attachment. I did purchase the added protection plan for 3 years as a personal choice. All in all very smooth ride ( it is a bit loud ) and did a good job on the slops in my culvert. Purchase date 3-17-17

Kohler Engine Cracked (30 hrs.)

I bought this mower a couple of years ago and babied it. It was garage kept and after 30 hours the engine cracked. The warranty had expired on it. I thought Kohler was the best, but wish I had gotten something else.

Love the engine and that it's fuel injected. The mower has a great turning radius. It had a hole in the back tire(had delivered to the house in the crate). I think this happened from a fork lift. But, the friendly people at the local Tractor supply Gave me a new one. although it didn't match had to buy a second( I'm picky like that). Otherwise the mower is great. Starts right up and works like it should!
