My first time owning/operating a riding lawnmower. This Cub Cadet is great! Very easy to operate handles great, it maneuvers around trees, bushes, and other obstacles with ease. Very pleased with my decision to go with Club Cadet.

Like the looks of havent gotten to use it yet just picked it up 4 days ago bad weather sense lawn needs to be mowed other one broke down

Purchased brand new from tractor supply. First few days I couldn't get it to start. Found some YouTube videos showing how to adjust the throttle tension cable. Had to do it 3 different times to get it to kinda start. That's also while having to play with the throttle itself during startup. Google search actuality autopopulated my search regarding why my cub cadet won't start. Now, less than 50 engine hours later, the throttle control lost all tendon. Again, Found another YouTube tutorial on how to do a temp fix by moving the throttle cable to a different skid within the control switch. So I'm just curious what my $3,200 actuality got me. It's an absolute miracle everytime it starts. Keep very very very far away from this brand. Plus the while delivery experience war a nightmare a well. So avoid tractor supply as well.

This mower has a powerful engine and is not lacking in that arena. It will create a tornado of dust 30 feet high and 40 feet wide should you drive over a patch of lawn or dirt driveway. You will have a nasty film of dirt after you mow. Take a wet wipe to your face afterwards and see. In addition if the wind is wrong you will be covered in grass that has blown out of the chute. The ride is extremely rough as there is NO shock absorption and apparently the seat springs were redesigned from previous mowers very poorly. If you don't have a lawn that is smooth like pavement you will be extremely disappointed with the ride. To replace the drive belt you absolutely need to remove the pulley from the shaft of the engine. If anyone has ever tried to remove that pulley from any brand lawn mower or machine it will be impossible for most home owners. A 3 point puller and heat will be a must! Now, having said all that..... The mower does mow evenly with the deck wheels guiding the deck at an even height. The deck adjustment is also nice with many different heights available. Especially being able to raise it up to 4 " high. The manufactured deck is thick and stout however since the deck wheel brackets are welded to the deck (instead of bolted with shear bolts), if one breaks because you accidently get too close to a tree [which is very common] it's just like the repair would be on a stamped deck. The repair depends upon the deck to be thick enough to weld. If your deck rusts after a year or two it may not be repairable without taking to a metal fabrication shop and replacing a plate of steel on the side of the deck (again, providing that the top of the deck isn't also rusted and thinned out). In the end the mower will make the owner happy for the first few mow jobs until you realize all of the things I have mentioned above. After a few months and especially a few years you will have to constantly repair several things on the mower including the deck/blade spindle bearings. The mower blades are also proprietary and require a large expense to replace. All in all, 3 STARS is unfortunately what my assessment lends.
