Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro Riding Mower LT 46

Picked this up this week after careful research. This is rated as one of the best for 2024 by several sites. First off, delivery was great! I had it the very next morning. It took a little getting used to after having a Craftsman Pro for nearly 8 years. It rides a bit rougher but it's bigger than my old mower. The 46" deck feels very sturdy. Although it isn't quite time for cutting grass, I did run it through my 1 acre just to get a feel for it. I can say the 22hp engine Kohler seems faster than my old mower, which was also a 22hp Kohler. It handled my hilly yard quite well. The seat feels more comfortable and it handles very well. The cutting deck rides smoothly along my yard. It takes about 2.5 gallons to fill it with gas. It's quieter than my old Craftsman. I usually spend around 2-3 hours cutting my yard, an hour or so at my other property and around 2 hours cutting the lake I live on. I may have to update this review as it gets warmer and grass starts to grow more. For now, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Mower failed but great customer support

Mower ran like there was water in the gas. I drained the tank and put in fresh gas with the same result. I called service line twice but after 30 min each time on hold - I dropped. BUT I called the store and they swapped the mower out for a new one that is running GREAT. Product quality issues happen but customer service is intentional.

Purchase not off to a great start

I haven't been able to use the tractor yet, so this is focused more on the purchase experience at this point. Purchased on line with shipping cost, everything went fine until delivery of the product. Was notified by the carrier, by the delivery driver, that they were ready to drop off the product immediately, which was a week early. Fine, except as I was at work and not expecting it, so I told them to call me back to schedule delivery for later that week. Never received a call. The next call about the delivery I received was from my wife, on a Monday night, after dark, when I wasn't home, asking me what was delivered in front of our garage. I was like, "I don't know, something from an online retailer? I didn't order anything." Well I get home and can't pull into my garage b/c you guessed, without any notification the carrier decided it was a good idea to drop off the product, in its crate, directly in front of my garage door (see attached photo)! This is ridiculous; I'm an older, handicapped veteran and in order to get into my garage I have to move this hundreds of pounds crate out of the way in the dark? Whiskey tango foxtrot, TSC?
I don't know who the carrier was b/c they never identified themselves on the phone and they never contacted me again, but I would never use them again and would urge TSC to find a new one b/c this is unacceptable!
I will update the review later based on my experience with the actual product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

What great improvements from my 2018 model. The steering is so much more precise and responsive. The engine just purrs. I also like how much more comfortable it is to operate. The seat is more comfortable. I also am planning to expand the accessories. This model will do just what I want.
