Q: How many mgs of Copper & of Zinc are in this hoof supplement to compare to what my farrier wants my horses on?? PPM measurements do not covert for comparisons. Thank you!

- A: The PPM on this label is calculated by amount in 1 kg of feed and 1 ppm=1 mg/l. This product serving is 32 grams per scoop. It takes 31.25 scoops to make 1000 g of the feed supplement. If we have 1500 ppm minimum, per scoop that would be 1500/31.25= 48 mg of zinc and 450/31.25=14.4 mg of copper per scoop.2 years ago

The best tasting hoof supplement -says my horse!

This is the best hoof supplement I have found ! Super palatable-my horse mugs me for it! I keep it at home and bring it out to the barn in a little baggie and he tries to mug my pocket. No added iron to compete with copper and zinc, and no selenium ( all good things!) so I can stack with my ration balancer. Helps with hoof integrity and the price is right. Highly recommend!

Easy to feed mixes right in with daily routine

My QH mare has very thin soles and is tender to walk without shoes, the Biotin was missing from her regular diet so adding this supplement has been very easy to add. I just started it so time will tell if it makes a difference in her thin soles but she likes it and cleans up the pellets with no problem.
