Q: I've had this product for a couple of years and would like to start using it again. I can't find an expiration date on it. Will it be ok to use it?

- A: If the product doesn’t have any deterioration (mold, bad aroma or appearance), the product still may be fine to feed. Since biotin is a vitamin, the functional level of the biotin may have degraded. Vitamins can degrade as product ages.3 years agoHelpful?

I have used this product for many years, on different horses. Positive points: Price is reasonable, I usually buy it in my TSC store. The last time I went, the store was out of stock. They were nice enough to ship it to me.
Pellets do not spoil in summer or freeze in winter. Horses eat it, I just mix it with their grain. It must be palatable, I have never had a horse fail to eat it. My horse is barefoot, so I am especially pleased with this product. I have recommended it to other horse owners.
