Don't waste your money like I did.

As Michael noted: "Don't waste your money on this hunk of junk."
I wish I had read reviews before purchasing. The clip doesn't engage with the chain properly. If you put the chain around the filter and then try to hook the clip, it falls out before you can put pressure on it. If you put the hook into the chain and then try to put it on the filter, it falls out before you can put pressure on it. I would return it, but its oily and not worth driving all the way across town to TSC.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Don’t waste your money on this hunk of junk, the hook doesn’t hold the chain and the metal that holds the red rubber piece just bends

works for taking the water filter cartage off just fine. A lot cheaper and better that the one they wanted to sell with the filter, made out of plastic 9 bucks
