Built of heavy-duty, rugged cast iron for durability, this shallow well jet pump is designed for a long life. This 1 hp jet pump features a 1-1/4 in. NPT suction port and a 1 in. NPT outlet port for a practical installation setup. The pump operates at 115V/230V for versatile electrical configurations. With a maximum flow rate of 21 GPM, this cast-iron jet pump is designed to deliver a strong water flow. Been using these pumps for ten years , tractor supply warranted one of them , the impeller assembly can be damaged from high heat if ran dry, repair kit can be found online for 45 to 50 dollars . I sugest adding a run dry switch or low pressure switch to prevent dry run damage .

Second pump breaking in less than 3 years

I have had 2 of these stop working between the one and two year mark. The most recent going out Just a week after the warranty expired. I understand the warranty expired 6 days before i called but i was just seeking a partial store credit to purchase a new one. The pump is just being used for my home water so not any heavy usage. They should definitely last longer than both of them have, and customer service should have been better. Now you have lost a customer.

I bought a pump a few years ago and it worked fine, so when I needed another one I searched the website for the part number and this shallow well pump popped up. I saw 1 hp pump and thought great there it is and ordered 2. Wrong pump. The one I wanted was discontinued. Why on earth wouldn't the site just say item not found or something like that? Instead it popped up a random 1 hp pump and made me return them. Sigh, yeah I know my fault but hey I'm a busy guy and when I search for a specific part number and the site says here it is why would I read all the fine print and description? Zero stars for the website!
