We purchased this coop to accommodate 3 young hens in preparation for introducing them to the adult flock and eventually transfer to the main coop. This small coop will house the 3 hens in a grassy area (protected within a hardware cloth boundary) until they're large enough to move into the big house. The coop was very easy to assemble and of great quality. If you have ever assembled IKEA furniture, you'll have no difficulty assembling this coop. It's easy to clean, and with the open bottom I just purchased a large roll of brown paper to roll the coop over. I move it daily onto new paper (the coop is currently in our garage). We removed the nesting divider and placed the heater sideways inside 1 nesting box for the 3 to get under, as they will not be old enough to lay eggs during their time in this coop. If you intend to make this your primary coop I wouldn't house more than 2 chickens and would highly recommend you affix hardware cloth to the bottom unless you have the whole coop inside protective fencing.

Its tiny, so unless you're keeping chicks in it, or maybe 1 hen, it won't work. However, it does work well when you need to separate a sick hen, or to keep a mama hen and her chicks in for a short bit. But definitely not a full time coop.
