All of our cages will come flat packed – It came with a sufficient pictorial manual. Screws were in marked plastic bags. Panels are stamped and come ready to be screwed together. Many have dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes(pre-drilling will prevent any cracks and preserve sturdiness while keeping wood intact).3 months agoHelpful?

Love this coop! We are using it as a transition coop from brooder to our larger coop so that our babies aren’t beaten up by the adults. This is a much better design than our last one that was similar.

Exactly What I Wanted - Used to raise chicks.

I use this Coop to protect chicks from snakes and possums. I had a setting hen and purchased chicks which she adopted. It has worked perfectly. I now put them in at dark and let them out for the day. I lost two of 20 initially but all the others are prospering at 3 weeks of age. The last set of chicks I had one survive out of 14.

This coop was exactly what I needed. I wanted it to allow a hen to raise her chicks in. Previously snakes and opossums have been eating my chicks. What I liked best about it was it went together easy, seems sturdy enough and each pack of screws had one extra in it. Great product. Highly recommend depending on what your needs are.
