Q: Would the coop (not the run) fit 3 turkeys at night?

      1 Answer
      • A: No, the Producer's Pride Hill Country Chicken Coop is much too small for three turkeys.Turkeys are significantly larger than chickens and require 6 to 10 square feet of coop space per bird. Since this model is designed for only 6 average-sized chickens, it lacks the floor space, vertical clearance, and roosting capacity to house full-grown turkeys comfortably or safely

      Q: Is it weatherproofed?

      1 Answer
      • A: Yes, this chicken coop is weather-resistant and features a sloped roof designed to prevent rain and snow buildup. While the coop itself provides shelter, the attached run has a wire top that does not offer protection from the elements.

      1 Answer
      • A: To extend the lifespan of SKU#2448044 - Producer's Pride Hill Country Coop, the manufacturer recommends following the 3 points below: 1. Use the tarp (suggested size: 80.7 × 50 inches / 205 × 127 cm) to cover the wooden coop, reducing the impact of extreme weather conditions (such as strong sunlight or rainstorms) on the wood. 2. Once fully assembled, avoid moving the coop frequently to maintain overall stability and the integrity of the connections between parts. 3. Ensure the coop is placed in an area where standing water does not accumulate

      Great Coop

This is better than I expected. Great quality. I got one from Temu and it was junk. More space that you think for 6 chickens. I love it and will add another one next year.

      Tractor Supply has unreliable website

Took a long time to search for a coop with key items. Shows "AVAILABLE" on line in white and white/brown. Ordered yesterday, and now status shows "Cancelled" and tracking shows "unavailable". Rep said that system shows 52 in stock, but warehouse cancelled since NOT available. Very frustrating since reps said the inventory apparently has not been updated. I noticed the item is still showing as available for someone else to attempt to purchase online.

      Great quality

I can’t believe how big it is and how good the quality is! Compared to other chicken coops I’ve seen this one is far more superior. It took me and my husband about 2 hours to assemble with kids running around. But it was pretty straightforward!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Great coop for the money

I was honestly surprised at how large this coop was once put together! It feels really solid, is thoughtfully designed, and my hens had 0 complaints! I will say, I don’t need the (WAY TOO SMALL) “run”, so the coop is the only thing I’m using inside an appropriate sized run for 8 hens + rooster. The coop very easily accommodates them all, despite the door being comically small. On the same vein as the door - there is 0 latch or lock my mechanism without using the run. I’ll likely just fasten a hook and eye latch on my own, but. Something to consider. The roosting bars are really placed but the “cup” that holds them is VERY easily knocked out of place. So I often have to refit them back in. 10000% recommend getting 16, 12x12 - 2” pavers to put under the coop as the whole floor is a slide out tray with flimsy bracing bars. It made a huge difference I’m already looking at purchasing another one when they go back on sale!
