- A: It fits up to 15, this is referring to bantams because they're the smallest fully grown - so that's the maximum it will fit. It would fit about half as many regular size chickens. There are 2 roosts and 5 nesting boxes.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: There is no way this coop is warm enough for cold winters. It needs insulation. Is there a plug outlet inside?

I love this coop and my chickens seem happier already!!!! We just put it together this past Friday. There is a storm coming through, so my flock will have a comfy coop to rest in through the storms and kept warmer with the cooler months approaching here in CT.

Great little coop

I bought this a month ago and moved my 6 week old chicks into it one week ago. Love the product it came faster than I thought. Very easy to put together. The height is correct on the website, but I was expecting it to be where I could stand up in the coop. I am 5’2 and have to stoop. I have silkies so the roost bars are too high for them. I will need to build something to go under the roost bars with a ladder. My chickens are safe and secure at night.
