- A: It was super easy to put together. We recommend 2 people and 45 minutes. And you just need to prepare a hand screwdriver or cordless drill. All of our cages will come flat packed – It came with a sufficient pictorial manual. Screws were in marked plastic bags. Panels are stamped and come ready to be screwed together. Many have dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes(pre-drilling will prevent any cracks and preserve sturdiness while keeping wood intact).a year agoHelpful?

This is cute and easy to put together. It is grest if you only need to contain your chickens. Not so good if there is predators. The predator pushed the fencing out before I could stop it.

Good for a momma hen to raise her chicks

I am very satisfied with this coop as a grow out pen for my momma hens to safely raise her chicks. It is not predator proof so they are moved to a more secure pen at night. The wood is light so to prevent ground water damage I did set it on treated 2x4s instead of directly on the ground. I found it working h the cost and it is in use for a second gen and her babies now.
