Large OverEZ coop

Semi delivered it to my driveway. Loaded the pieces on a trailer heavy for an old man. My daughter, her boyfriend and I assembled it in about three hours. Be sure and watch the video before you start. There are three shipping 2x2’s that must be removed and it’s not in any of the directions. I love it.

Good but with several problems

Coop overall was easy to assemble but not without a few problems!
1. The roost boards and chicken ramp had black mold on the wood.
2. The metal roof was bent on the corner and is unsightly
3. The radiant roof insulation was ripped on one side
4. Some of the prefab pieces were slightly warped and difficult to fit in the grooves while assembling
5. Because of the warped pieces, I had to caulk where daylight was showing around the bottom and corners of the nesting box
6. The latch handle was not drilled properly the first time and you can see where they drilled it in multiple times until it aligned.
7. The latch handle was broken upon arrival and will not secure the nesting box upright.
8. I notified customer service 3 days ago via email and have yet to hear back from them!
Outside of the issues above, it is a solid coop.

Just purchased the large coop to replace two cheap, old, falling-apart coops... the difference is even more dramatic than I anticipated. This is a solid, well-constructed structure that will probably last 5x as long as the ones it's replacing. My chickens will be thrilled!

I am very happy with the chicken coop. There are a few things that can make assembly easier for you. First, there are trim pieces at the end of the short walls that form a slot into which the ends of the longer walls fit. I had to pry the trim loose to get the long walls into the slot. Second, there were three short 2x4's attached to the short wall on the floor assembly. You need to pry them off or they will get in the way of the long wall with the laying boxes. This is not on the assembly directions and it cost me a lot of time trying to get the long wall fit properly. I had a 1/2" gap at the ends of the long wall until I figured this out. I can only assume they are there to stabilize the short wall during shipping. None of the pictures or videos show the 2x4's being on there. Otherwise, it looks to be a great chicken coop.
Yes, I recommend this product.
