Quick & easy build, maybe 30 min without reading instructions. I just looked at pictures. I didn't have any broken hinges or anything. I have lots of cats in the neighborhood and a large curious dog, so no issues with predators yet. As far as ventilation i plan on putting a push pull configuration with those small solar chicken coop fans (40$). As far as the roosting bars I may re-configure them on a as needed basis. I have 4 blue wyandotte chickens going inside with plenty of room for them. There is plenty of accessibility from multiple sides so clean out should be plenty easy. Easy access to the eggs and slide out tray for cleaning inside the hutch part. I did the math and considered building my own coop from scratch but the and labor and material costs were so much more than the cost of this coop. I am happy with my purchase and glad I went this route. The packaging was excellent as to insure there was no damage to the pieces.

Not easy assembly at all

This would've been great except that the " Pre-drilled holes” were nonexistent. My husband had to drill everything by hand which thank goodness we could, But it added so much unnecessary time in labor to the whole process. Then, parts of the roof are not even fitted correctly so we have to improvise away to fix that .
No, I do not recommend this product.

The coop works well. The chickens have not escaped and it is easy to clean and tend to the chickens. The set up was pretty straightforward and took a couple hours. The team at the Pine River Tractor Supply was so helpful. They offered to give me the model that was already assembled but let me know that the coop was a beginner friendly build. Also, a team member helped answer all my questions about chickens (new to raising them) and helped me to get all the materials I needed to make them comfortable.

Okay chicken coop

It’s okay. Setup was fine, took a couple of hours. Mine came with a broken hinge pin and a couple broken rivets. I like the metal parts compared to some others thin wood. Pretty sturdy. Looks like it should last a few years. Price is a bit high for what you get just like most coops.
