The Purina Layena Crumbles Poultry Feed is formulated with the optimum nutrition for healthy birds and nutritious eggs. The laying hen feed crumbles are a 16% protein and high-calcium ration formulated with prebiotics, probiotics and yeast for top-producing laying hens once they reach 18 weeks of age. This laying hen feed also includes our Oyster Strong System for strong shells and an additional source of calcium when the hens need it most. The system's proprietary blend of oyster shell and key vitamins and minerals helps ensure calcium will be available day and night when laying hens are forming egg shells, so they don't need to pull it from their bones. When you choose a complete layer feed with the Oyster Strong System, there is no need to provide supplemental oyster shell because the necessary calcium is included in every bite.
