Producer's Pride Scratch Grain, 50 lb. is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 230.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from First time The price was better than a scratch grain product found at a local competitor. This is the first time I have tried this product. The chickens are getting used to it, but off hand I would say there is too much cracked corn in it and not enough other grains.

Is your scratch grain GMO free?

Asked by: Macdad55
Grains used in these products are purchased on the market, and they (the market) do not distinguish between GMO and non-GMO. So there is a good possibility that there are GMO grains in both products. The only way to be certain that you are not getting GMO grains is to purchase organic products.

Can this scratch grain be fed to laying chickens; pullets?

Asked by: New2chickenfarming
Scratch Grains can be fed to any chickens but it should be no more than 10% of the total diet otherwise they will not consume the fortified feed. Scratch grains are similar to candy for a child, taste great but no real nutritional value. If they quit consuming the fortified layer feed it will result in soft shelled eggs, less eggs or possibly not laying at all.

Is this none GMO or organic a d can I sprout it

Asked by: Behumble
This feed is not certified organic. To be organic it must be certified and the cost would be much higher. This feed has been heat treated to keep it from sprouting.
