Ca Values Way Off

The range of Ca (0.7-4.2%) is unacceptable. The higher end is waaaaaaay to0 high for males of any barnyard species and in particular, constant overfeeding of calcium to tom turkeys often causes crippling gout after a couple of years. The lower end is waaaaaaaaaaaay too low for laying hens. Otherwise, the feed would be okay for a mixed flock--a little high on protein for maintenance (in the 14-16% range would be better), perhaps, but acceptable.

Pelleted food needs to be powder free!

I wish the bag pf pellets were sifted better. My flock won't eat the crushed/powder form of the food so when I buy a bag of pellets and it contains powdered it is wasted money.
