The Husqvarna ST224 Snow Blower is designed for homeowners who need a high-performing snow thrower to clear snow from large driveways and paths. This 24-inch Husqvarna snow blower has a 5.9-HP, 212-cc engine that delivers enough power for efficient snow removal, a push-button electric start for easy cold starts, and throttle control to idle down the engine when it's not clearing. An efficient two-stage system delivers plenty of throwing capacity, and the friction-disc transmission ensures smooth operation with six forward speeds and one reverse speed. This gas snow blower has a ribbon auger that mixes air into the snow to ensure efficient clearing. Easily accessible controls include a rotator to rotate the chute and a lever for changing the vertical throwing direction. The interlock handle can be adjusted to four different heights for ergonomic, single-handed control. Excellent machine

This is the 2nd ST224 I have owned. I switched over to a 4-wheeler with a plow for a few years, but missed the cleanliness of using a snow blower. Teh electric start feature is great! I don't think that I have ever had to use the pull start. This machine will throw snow well out of your way. Happy to back using the ST224!

Controls are complicated and difficult to use.

Controls are Incredibly difficult to use and the machine does not stop when you take your hands off the controls. The shoot only allows you to throw the snow to one sude.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Broken too soon

On my third winter in Western Michigan, but the auger no longer spins. Used this machine about 15 times. Works great when it works.
