Disappointed the higher 24% protein starter/grower has not been available and this is the best (20% protein) they have for the same price. So I'm paying about the same to buy a product of lesser value.

We have been using this chick starter/grower feed for almost 5 years now. I believe the 20% protein is the perfect amount, especially when switching the entire flock over to it while the chicks are growing. We keep them on this feed until they begin laying. Then, we switch over to the Dumor layer crumbles. We have found our adult chickens prefer the crumbles over the pellets. We hatch chicks each year to add to our flock and have never had any issues arise due to malnutrition. Our layers continue laying regularly while on this feed. The feed is always fresh, and the texture is appealing to the entire flock. The composition is always consistent, never dry, too powdery, or moldy. It's easy to scoop into feeders, never clumping, even when kept in the bag it is sold in
