Sweet Coop

I like this coop, bought it 8 months ago. We live in a very hot climate, so decided to add a roof to the pin area. It needs another door/access to the pin- it’s very difficult to clean. I also wish it had an add- on pin to enlarge. We have 6 chickens, and wouldn’t add anymore. We also added another row of bricks (two) to add height and protect the wood from water damage. When it rains.

Overall it’s okay. Great starter coop.

Pros: this product is super cute and really easy to put together. They couldn’t have made it an easier. Pieces were all labeled and there were minimal steps. Cons: materials are really cheap and light weight. We were very careful when screwing pieces together but it would be very easy to splinter the wood pieces.

Happy with my purchase

I love the look of this coop- nothing was damaged and was delivered perfectly. The hardware needed replaced (hinges & locks) just because what was included didn't seem like a quality addition. I also sprayed it with wood sealer. It looks great.
