I bought it a year ago and am so unhappy I did so. Attachments fit poorly. Has to send one back. Replacement also not goos.

My mixer stopped working consistently in the first year. I’ve used it only a few times and now it struggles to get to higher speeds and frequently doesn’t turn on. Not what I expected from its reputation.

So I have always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer because my mom has had hers for about 20 years and never had any issues and so my brother got me one for christmas 2 years ago and I have probably used it 5 times and I got it out to make a bigger batch of mashed potatoes the other day and as soon as i turned it on speed one, it was going to speed 10 and so i unplugged it and then tried again and it keeps going full speed no matter what I have the lever at, and I am so disappointed because i am not sure if it is still under warranty or not but I am just disappointed that I have loved it even though I rarely used it but now I can’t use it unless i want food being slung out everywhere. I have the hand mixer that i use mostly but for bigger things I needed this and now It is just useless. I am hoping that Kitchenaid will remedy this because I can’t be the only person to have problems with this model.
