Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product shipped is in Soybean oil! Product as described on website and in photo is pure flaxseed oil, but what we received (shipped to store) is first ingredient soybean oil. If we wanted soybean oil, we'd buy soybean oil for a lot less $$. Returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purchased for different reason than most My horse has been diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma of the lower eyelid. I've tried cryotherapy, masking and other treatments to no avail. 3 vets have told me to completely get rid of the cancer, we would have to remove her entire eye to have enough healthy tissue left. A friend of mine who works in a lab told me to check out flaxseed, as there has been some research on it's effects on cancer cells. I figured why not? It can't hurt, right? I have been feeding it almost 3 weeks now and I can seen a huge difference in her coat... She's a paint and I've never seen her white with the sheen it has now. So, there's that part. Now, I realize 3 weeks isn't QUITE enough time to really say it works hands down. But, I have started to see a small improvement in the surrounding skin of the ulcer. It looks it almost as if it's healing. It's not scabbing or bleeding like it used to. I would definitely recommend this product for the multiple benefits it offers.
