The Triple Crown Naturals Golden Ground Flax Horse Supplement is an Omega-3 fatty acid supplement. The ground flax horse supplement is ideal for horses needing to improve immune function and hair and hoof condition. This horse supplement also helps reduce inflammation in exercised and older horses. Comes in a 25 lb. bag.

- Gradually introduce flax by using as a top dressing or mixing with horses diet over the course of 5 to 7 days.
- Not intended as a vitamin and mineral supplement and should be fed in conjunction with a Triple Crown feed.
- Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep product fresh in cool, dry storage. Examine product daily.
- DO NOT use if old, moldy or contaminated with insects.
Gradually introduce flax by using as a top dressing or mixing with horse's diet over the course of 5 to 7 days.

- A: It will depend on how much you are feeding per day. Feeding recommendations are 6 oz. - 1 lb/day for 1000 lb. horse. If you are feeding at the lower end (6 oz./day) it will last about 66 days. If you feed 1 lb. per day it would last 25 days as it is a 25lb. bag.a year agoHelpful?

Coat is getting noticed!

A big thank you to all the previous reviewers on this product! My mare's coat has noticeably improved after 2.5 weeks. I have been adding this to her Triple Crown Low Starch feed. She loves the combination. She is in the pasture year round and after the cold winter, I was looking for something to super charge her summer coat. This product did it!

Love it so far. Looks and smells good, horse loves it. He is an ottb who is a little thin, so this flax has helped him fill out in the past month since using it. He gets two cups a day. I’ll be buying more!
