I started vaccinating my dog last year with this vaccine. It is cheaper than the vet (they wanted $200 for the same vaccines). I had no issues with setting up the syringe. Now, when I brought him to the vet for his yearly checkup, the tech made it seem like this stuff is garbage and not as good as what they use. It is pure nonsense. If their stuff was so good, then why did my last dog die of Lyme's 2 years ago? She was vaccinated 3 months before we moved here and she got her first ever tick. Turns out the Lyme vaccine isn't 100%. That's something to think about. The tech also sneered when I told her he got his rabies shot from a NYS DOH run rabies clinic for $5. As if the vaccines they use aren't any good, either. Anyway, if you feel comfortable administering the shot, or know someone who is, then go for it. It will save you a lot of money. The vet wanted $150 for the visit alone and $200 for the shots. Even the TS clinic will cost around $150 for it. That's a lot of money to shell out, especially in this economy.

I started using this vaccine for my dogs of all life stages instead of taking my pups to the vet to get their DAPP shot (of course they get their annual rabies vax). I assume this is a good product. I have been using it on my Anatolian shepherd for quite a few years. We have 4.5 acres in country with ticks.
