Lasted almost foreverI was as surprised as anybody that I got 8 years out of this battery. Installed August 2007. I swear. It was in a Kubota lawn tractor and I only took the battery out for a few of those Indiana winters. Their a bit pricy, but I know what I'll be finally replacing this one with.

What is the difference between a 51RC and a 51C Battery will these work on a John Deere with a 51size

The 51RC has the positive terminal on the right side of the battery and the 51C has the positive terminal on the left side.Please check your old battery for the terminal configuration.

The main description on page for 51rc exide battery states it has a 550 CCA. When you read further in the internal description it states 450 CCA. Could you please advise what the actual rating is. 550 would be great for my Kubota 7100 diesel 450 not so gd

The main page list the Cranking Amps (CA) as 525 and the specification tab list the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) at 450 for the 51RC. Starting batteries are rated both in CA (Cranking Amps @ 32 degrees) and CCA (Cold Cranking Amps @ 0 degrees).Please check with your tractor manufacturer as to the required CA or CCA battery.
