Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit. Just installed yesterday. Don't let size scare you. It took up the same footprint as my 32 gallon. coupler is not metal. Threaded good, but was nervous about cross threading it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We are pressured! We have a Amtrol Well-X-Trol 86 on order but coming late. We didn't want our pressure pump to short cycle and die so we bought this to save pump. Workng great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price! Identical to Sta-rite tanks at half the price. They are made at the same plant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bladder failed Just over 2 years old and bladder failed. Short cycling and trapped estimated 40 gallons above bladder that would not drain. TSC gave me a full refund. This tank (maybe this was the only bad one) was junk, but as usual TSC stood behind their products.

This is a bladder tank. It is made with 14 gauge metal and is not painted on the inside of the tank.

Is there a way to adjust the pressure in the tank and if so, how?

Asked by: Robi88
The air pressure in the tank should be 2 PSI below the "start" pressure of the pump. Example: with a 40/60 pressure switch, the air pre-charge in the tank should be no higher than 38 PSI. Use an air compressor to pre-charge the tank to the correct pressure.

Is the pressure in the tank adjustable? Can it be higher than 40 PSI?

Asked by: DavidHHaley
Yes, the pressure tank can be adjusted. They have been tested at 100 psi but the tanks need to be set according to the pressure switch. The owner’s manual details how to do this.

what is meant by 220 gallon rated? the maximum volume based on the dimensions is 100 Gallons

Asked by: Al3x
Storage tanks are rated according to how much air they can hold which is determined by the size of the tank and the air pressure (psi). The higher the psi, the smaller the space the air consumes.
