CountyLine Horizontal Pre-Charged Pressure Tank, 19 gal. Actual Capacity is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a tank. It fills, it empties - working as expected, for now. Much better than an old, rusted out bladderless tank.

Questions & Answers

I am wanting to move my vertical tank beside the well to this horizontal under the house will this work there and does the presure with need to move also and will this work on a 40/60lbs switch The well is probably 100' from house also

Asked by: M Chris
You can put the Vertical Tank Beside the Horizontal Tank. Both Tanks MUST be No More than 5’ from the Pressure Switch. Both Tanks Will have the Same amount of Air in the Tanks, when there is NO Water in the Tanks. The Air is to be 2lbs Less than the Start Pressure of the Switch. If your Pump can get up to the 60psi, Not a Problem. To Check the Tank for the Correct Amount of Air, is Turn the Pump Off (Electrically), Open a Faucet and let all the Water Out, When there is No More Water coming Out, Leave the Faucet Open and Now Check the Air in the Tank or Tanks with an Air Gauge like the Car or Bicycle Tire Gauge.

what is the drawdown of the CLPT20H pre-charged 19gal tank?  can I use it with the shallow well pump model CLTS5 1/2 HP?

Asked by: fortdd
It could be used with the CLTS5 which has a 30/50 PSI pressure switch. The drawdown depends on the air precharge which is determined by the pressure switch settings. With a 30/50 pressure switch, the air precharge is 28 PSI which gives you a drawdown of 5.9 gallons.

Are you able to take the black piece off the end and able to turn it one direction or the other (to be able to line up to existing plumbing) or is the piece attached to the bladder inside?

Asked by: Showard5
Yes, the tank flange can be rotated. You must first relieve all air pressure in the through the air valve on top. When reinstalling the flange follow the instructions in the owner’s manual. The nuts must be torqued in an alternating pattern to 65-inch pounds.
