Home Fresh 15 Sheep Grower Finisher is a pelleted high-energy feed for growing and finishing lambs. Feed Home Fresh 15 Sheep Grower Finisher beginning at 60 pounds body weight to market weight. It is recommended to feed good-quality hay at the rate of 0.25 pounds per head per day to stimulate appetite. Provide access to clean fresh water at all times. If lambs are not accustomed to feed, work them up gradually to full feed. Home Fresh 15 Sheep Grower Finisher may also be fed as a grain ration to gestating and lactating ewes. Provide good-quality forage, free-choice Sheep Mineral, and fresh water daily. Gestating Ewes - Suggested feeding range: 0.75 - 1.50 lb/hd/day. Lactating Ewes - Suggested feeding range: 1.25 - 2.50 lb/hd/day. The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment and breed may dictate changes in the animal's dietary requirements.
We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Kent/Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent/Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.
