However, it is not formulated to meet their nutritional needs, so a fortified deer product is recommended. If this product is fed to deer, they can overeat and suffer bloat. - A: There is no monensin in the feed but it is made in plants that are not ionophore free. It is recommened to only feed to the animals listed. This would not be a product to feed to horses. Even though there is no monenesin in the feed it was made in a plant that is not ionophore free so there is a possibility of cross contamination.a year agoHelpful?

Non-medicated so it can be fed daily and the medicated formula can be used as needed and not daily.
No copper in the formula because copper is toxic to sheep.
Our goats and sheep share pens so we don’t need to separate them on a small farm.
