Meet the Pirtle Nursery Leyland Cypress Tree. The Leyland Cypress is a fast-growing, needle-leaved evergreen tree with a narrow, pyramidal shape. Its soft sprays of frosty foliage are well-suited for background, accent, hedging or screening. Leyland Cypress Trees also make an excellent natural windbreak. It grows up to 60-100 ft. tall.

  • Includes 1 Leyland Cypress evergreen tree in a 2.5 qt. pot and detailed planting instructions
  • Requires annual pruning for desired shapes; however, if not pruned will have an oval or pyramidal shape
  • Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 6-9
  • Plant 10 - 20 in. apart
  • Leyland Cypress Tree grows to 60-100 ft. tall
  • 2.5 qt. size pot has actual size of 2.37 liters
  • Prefers well-drained soil and full to part sun

We ordered 6 Leeland cypress, they were delivered to our Galax va store. They were well secured and wrapped, with tags, we planted them the next day, they were very green no damage and very healthy. We will order again from them. The store manager himself loaded them . Exceptional service and timely delivery.

Be sure to inspect your trees before accepting.

Trees started turning brown and probably dying after a couple of weeks. They pruned the trees back to fit into the shipping box. Cut main center stem, the thickest one, and did not seal it. They also had a no return policy when I purchased mine. Wonder why???

These tree are half the size of the ones that I bought in the store 2 weeks ago. The “sale” price was 50 cents cheaper. Disappointed at the size for the price.
