Enhance your landscape with the Pirtle Nursery 3.74 gal. Prairifire Crabapple Tree in #5 Pot. Prairifire Crabapple is a beautiful, pink flowering tree with glossy, dark red bark. Great for landscapes all year long, this tree has pink flowers that kick off the Spring growing season. The foliage grows to a deep green, and in the fall they close out the season with beautiful orange to red fall coloring. Crabapples create a focal point in any yard. Prairiefire crabapple trees also produce small fruits. The fruits are dark red and have a shiny finish on them. The fruit looks like miniature cherries when they are fully developed. An excellent habitat and food source for wildlife. Its dark fruit is very decorative but may stain light-colored paving. Grow your very own fruit with the beloved Prairifire Crabapple tree today!

Q: Is this tree self pollinating?
2 months ago- A: Hello, Bill. Prairifire Crabapple trees are self-pollinating and will produce fruit without another tree nearby. However, you can improve fruit production with cross-pollination with other crabapple varieties. Additionally a Prairifire is excellent at pollinating other apple trees, acting as a "universal pollinator" for many edible apple varieties that bloom at the same time. Hope this helps!2 months agoHelpful?
Q: are the fruits tart and if so how big are the fruits
