Just bought the trees on Sunday and planted the same day. Just wondering how often I should water them and how much.

1/2 the advertised size

The price is fair but if you order online just be prepared that when you get them they may be a lot smaller than advertised. These are advertised as 3 to 4 ft tall, I ordered 14 of them and almost every one is 2 ft tall, a few maybe 2 1/2 ft. I decided to take them anyway since I know they will grow fairly fast.

But the dust.

I purchased four emerald abrovite this spring. Planted following instructions. One of the four shows signs of life. The other three have bit the dust. Perhaps there is an incompatibility problem.

Green Giant Arborvitae- Ellsworth Store Mgr

The Green Giant Arborvitae we purchased were all bushy and healthy. They were very well priced and weathered the transition to being planted in the ground well. We’re very pleased with the trees and greatly appreciated TS Ellsworth Manager Larry was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind and went all out to help us.

15 Ordered, 15 Dead - Waste Of Money!

I bought 5 of these locally In April last year to start a screen along our front yard. Those are still green and growing. As mentioned in the title, I ordered 15 of these (giant version) on August 11, 2023. The non-giant version was delivered on August 12, 2023 & I had to take all of them to the local store for an exchange. I had the giant version replacements in the ground within a couple days and within 2 weeks every single one from this order started turning brown, while the older ones were still doing fine. I hoped they would recover after the winter, but it's Spring & they're worse. Here we are, 7 months later and those 15 are either still brown, or nothing but a trunk and branches. I would have sworn these trees had a warranty when I bought them, but now the website says new ones are non-returnable. I have included a few sample photos of one of the planted locations. This was a total waste of hundreds of dollars. Unless there is some form of replacement initiated, I'll never buy another product that originated from Pirtle Nursery.
