The Pirtle Nursery Emerald Green Arborvitae is a best selling pyramidal evergreen. It has lacy, dark evergreen foliage throughout the year. Its stately, pyramidal shape makes it an excellent hedge to create a privacy screen, border, block out the noise and act as a natural windbreak.
- Includes one Emerald Green Arborvitae in a #7 (6.093 gal) pot and detailed planting instructions.
- No pruning necessary unless to remove dead branches. If you do decide to hedge the Emerald Green Arborvitae then make sure the trim leaves the bottom wider than top of plant.
- Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8.
- Plant 6ft apart unless planting for hedge or screen then plant 3ft to 4ft apart.
- Requires full sun to partial shade. Prefers well-drained soil, and tolerates a wide ranges from acidic to slightly alkaline soil. Will not do well if roots are constantly wet, thus leading to root rot.
- Mature height will be 10ft-15ft, while mature width will be 3ft to 4ft.
- #7 size pot has actual size of 23.067 Liters (6.093 gal.)
- Grown in USA
