Wrong information/transaxle in f not serviceable.

This is not about the mower itself, rather the information given by TSC. Model # 17aieaem010, in fact does not have the Hydro Gear ZT 2800. It is listed per model # lookup to have the EZT-2200

Not worth the hassle

I bought this mower about 6 weeks ago and it has less than 6 hrs. on it and it will no longer start. Called TSC and was told to call Cub Cadet. I called Cub Cadet and they gave me the name of a couple of companies to call that perform warranty service. Company 1 has horrible reviews and exorbitant lead times. Company 2 said they asked Cub Cadet to remove them from the warranty service list. Called Cub Cadet again and got 2 more companies. Company 3 wont answer the phone or return a call. Company 4 said, "you didn't buy it from us, so you are not a priority so your lead time is 3 - 4 weeks"
I can tell you this, I won't be buying a Cub Cadet again and I have not intention on making another purchase through TSC. It just ain't worth the hassle.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Overall decent mower for residential

Good mower so far struggles in thick grass around 10” tall so make sure you stay on top of your lawn. Over all decent mower. I mow 5 acres in about a hour and a half with it.
