Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very weak chicks, don't bother. I have raised and ordered chicks and Kites for years without problems. The most chicks I have aver lost from a group this size is 1. I was sent 11 chicks, 10 died. Received 11 in the afternoon, the next day 9 died during the day. When received, they were immediately given water and all drank, no signs of constipation etc. next day 9 died during the day. The 10th during the next day. Appears they were infected with a virus or other disease. I will be ordering from one of my normal suppliers next spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased! Ordered 9-30-19 and arrived at the Post Office 10-2-19 (super quick CA to SC). These are strong, healthy keets and I just want to say THANK YOU to these folks that try hard, do it right the first time and treat the customer like a friend just like folks did in the Good Old Days. Love these keets, they'll increase my flock, love these folks and I am soooo happy! Thanx again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and service. I ordered 10 and received 10 very healthy little chicks. Now a few weeks after, all still alive and healthy. Couldn’t be happier with my order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Survival Rate All ten survived the shipment. Lost one the next day. Nine still healthy and thriving. If it wasn’t for that one loss, I would give a 5-star rating.

Do you send instructions on how to raise them from just hatched? Can a beginner hobby farmer successful raise these chicks or is this particular “item” for the more advanced farmer?

Asked by: Laura99
Beginning hobby farmers can raise guineas successfully and many actually have them with chicks because they alert to predators and are excellent managing ticks and other bugs. There are special instructions as to game feed rather than chick feed and they do take more heat than a chick when started. Please call 641-323-6100 and we would provide you instructions by email if you would like
