These used to be my go-to. I buy 20 bags at a time. Nearby, good price and good quality shavings. Last load was different. More like shredded wood than shavings. Coarse and not absorbent. too much trouble to return. I will use them up and go to a different supplier.

They must have changed suppliers. The way the wood is shredded makes it nearly impossible to sift animal waste out and it is less absorbent than it used to be.

I received eight bags via delivery out of the eight bags six of them were soaking wet, making them extra heavy . I guess for any future orders I will have to request dry pine shavings.
