Dyna-Glo Delux KFA80DGD 80K BTU Kerosene Forced Air Heater is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect heater for my 3 car garage Had this shipped to my local store and box was in good shape except for one hole. Everything was in perfect shape when I took it out. Easy setup. Fired it up outside for first use, as the instructions indicated and I recommend you do it as well, to burn off the new product smells. It's not real cold here yet so to go from 40 degrees to 69 is really quick. I don't have an issue with the thermostat. Set it at 70 and my garage sensor is at 5 feet above the floor and it consistently kept it at 69. Set at 75, it's about 78 degrees. I first used kerosene and ran a gallon through it and then 4 gallons of diesel. I guess it is a matter of opinion, but with today's diesel, I can tell little difference in the fumes. The handle is sturdy and can be moved easily considering you're sometimes moving 5 gallons of fuel inside. If you never had one of these types of heaters before it's going to sound like a small jet running when it is heating. If you think the smell of lacquer thinner is sweet, body putty smell means 'new', auto shop smells mean money, then diesel is fine. If you think those types of smells are terribly objectional then you probably want to go with a propane heater. CONS: The only improvement that I would make is to move the power plug more to the side away from the fuel fill hole. Not because of safety, but spills making the plug slick. I would also increase the length of the plug just an inch longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This heater is great with thermostat built in. I recommend kerosene. Not diesel fuel for heating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the automatic thermostat heats an 18'x18' garage up in 10 minutes, but has a strong kerosene smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Arrived timely, and worked as it should as well as being the best deal I could find on this size unit. Has little extra details that the competition doesn’t. Very satisfied.
