Q: Is this a 110 outlet plug in?

  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. No. This heater is a 240 volt hard‑wired unit that must be permanently connected to a 240 V electrical circuit. It does not come with a standard 110 V plug or work in a regular household 110 V outlet.

Q: this is for a ewh5100 heater description says 7500 watts and also 5000 watts and 30 amps and also 21 amps be nice to know what applies because it effects the breaker size, wire size and outlet size and plug size vr jim

Good garage heater for the price!

Heater works well in my 20x20x10’ garage. I leave it on 5000 watts and turn the temperature up 3/4and 45 minutes later temp is 70. I only wish it had a remote control so I can turn it on without a ladder ( I mounted it about 8 ‘ high). Btw it blows fairly quiet.
