Q: Is this safe to use in a closed 2 car garage? Does the garage door need to be open?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Kevin, this heater uses air (oxygen) from the area in which it is used. It produces carbon monoxide. Adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided. Always provide a fresh air opening in the heated space of at least three square feet (2,800 sq. cm) for each 100,000 BTU/hour of heater output. If your garage is not ventilated in another manner, the garage door should be open far enough to meet the three square feet minimum. Stay Warm!

Good Little Heater

Good little heater -- I like the portability with the battery option. Not overly strong heater, but makes a difference in bitter cold garage working on car. Tractor Supply internet pickup at store was smooth, and the associate was good to work with.
