Rated at 10,500-BTUs, the B heats up to 525-square feet for 8-13 hours (depending on the grade of kerosene used and the age of the wick) using only 1 full 1.1 gallon tank of kerosene. Indoor wick kerosene heaters are 99% efficient, safe for living areas, easily portable, and require no installation. Got this to heat a small section of my basement, (475 sq. ft). After following included instructions, as to operation, etc., I found this unit to be just the right size for my needs.
I start/shut off heater outside so as not to have fumes inside. Unit is clean burning and as long as water free k-1 is used and wick is maintained properly, if works fine.

SELF IGNITER NOT WORKING AFTER FIRST USE

SELF IGNITER NOT LIGHTING THE WICK. CAN SEE A LITTLE GLOW BUT HAVE TO INSERT AN EXTENDED LIGHTER TO ACTUALLY LIGHT. HAVE ONLY USED 4 TIMES AND LIT THE FIRST TIME. USING THE BATTERIES SUPPLIED. HAVE NOT TRIED NEW BATTERIES YET OR ANY OTHER TROUBLE SHOOTING THAT MAY BE LISTED IN THE MANUAL. OTHER THAN THAT IT DOES OPERATE WELL WITH NO ODOR. EASY TO FILL. NICE SIPHON HOSE CAME WITH THE HEATER.

Perfect size Keroscene Heater That looks inviting!

Been using this everyday for the last 2 weeks. Perfect size to carry around the house. Put it in the area that needs heat. Nice ambience. Tips for better experience. Light outside for like 5 minutes before bring inside. Keroscene smell goes away after its been burning. I also turn heater off outside as well, thats when it puts off a keroscene smell.. Light outside, turn off outside, you will have a great experience.
