The kerosene heater is portable and comes with a wick installed, a manual siphon pump and 4 C batteries for automatic ignition. The heater operates up to 14 hours on 1.2 gal. of kerosene. Suitable for medium indoor areas up to 400 sq. ft., such as workbenches, garages and barn spaces.

Exactly like the one we used for 20 years. I was very pleased to find another one made like it. I mainly wanted this for backup heat source so if we ever loose power again like earlier this year, my dogs and I can stay warm.

This is the second one I've had and it stopped working the exact same way the first one did. Except the first one lasted two years and the second only lasted one night. The wick won't rise. What is truly reprehensible is that the process to get the heater repaired requires so much effort and jumping through so many hoops that it's cheaper in the end to buy a new heater. I will not be buying another RedStone product and Tractor Supply should be ashamed to sell such poor quality goods that cannot be repaired in a reasonable fashion.

Not bad, not perfect

Heats well, i have 2 of these. I like the removable tanks for safety reasons and for usability, you dont have to move the whole heater outside to refuel. Covers a good portion of space if needed to take the chill off or subsidize heating especially on colder days. Now i sometimes run one at night to carry on to hold heat in the house after my fire burns out of my woodstove and i find a full tank will last about 14 hours on medium. Its also small and light enough it can be lugged around anywhere.

Bought this certain one last year, 2nd season is upon us, temps -5 to -7. I’ve ran it on low over night several times, this is very good little heater , I recommend this to anyone
