Q: Do thesehave thorns?
2 years ago- A: No, it is thornless.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does this blackberry perform well in the desert southwest? What are its water requirements? and ph? Soil here is alkaline.
8 years ago- A: It is a hardiness zone plant of 6 - 8; most of the desert in your area is in zone 7 - 8 so it should do well there. It has very good heat and sun tolerance. It does need to stay well watered until it establishes a good root system, then it will need a good drenching at least once a week. It is adaptable to different soils but the PH needs to be between 5.8 and 6.8.8 years agoHelpful?
